content of the design is the development of a 'spatial implant' which should be fundable via crowdfunding. the implant is meant to be a temporary installation at an idle or unused building. the intervention should bring new life to the location at least for a short while. the clearer the dialogue between the existing old building and the temporary, reversible structure will be, the better the intended impact will be kickstarted.
the success of this netbased funding system is based on an in-depth analysis of the stock and on the marketability of the utilization strategy. the concept will consider a value chain from the former construction of the building until its future.
by the design of the intervention and the individual positioning to the vacancy, new utilisation options will be opened and interest revives. the long-term preservation of the stock and the assessment of the building structure under functional aspects will both be considered.

entwurfsinhalt ist die entwicklung eines 'raumimplantats', das über crowdfunding finanzierbar ist. das raumimplantat stellt eine temporäre installation in einem leerstehenden gebäude dar, das durch den eingriff vorübergehend zu neuem leben erweckt wird. je deutlicher der dialog zwischen bestehendem altbau und temporärer, rückbaubarer struktur sein wird, desto mehr wird sich die beabsichtigte wirkung entfalten.
der erfolg des netzbasierten finanzierungssystems basiert auf einer umfassenden analyse der bedingungen vor ort und auf der vermarktbarkeit der nutzungsstrategie. das konzept wird in eine wertschöpfungskette von der ursprünglichen errichtung des gebäudes bis in die zukunft eingebettet.
durch den entwurf eines temporären implantats und die eigenpositionierung zum leerstand werden neue nutzungsmöglichkeiten aufgezeigt und interesse am ort geweckt. der langfristige erhalt des gebäudes wird kritisch reflektiert. die kulturelle bedeutung des bestandes wird ebenso in betracht gezogen wie die bewertung der bausubstanz unter funktionalen aspekten.
