the rural environment of the site is characterized by solitary buildings at different altitudes of the hilly landscape of lappersdorf. the surrounding landscape could be considered the particular attraction of the site. having this in mind, we placed two stereometric apartment buildings in the slightly sloping terrain. a common meeting point at the center of both buildings provides a location for sitting down and having a chat with neighbours, also a small playground is situated there. this 'core' is spatially defined by terraces in the outdoor facilities.

the apartment buildings are constructed as highly efficient hybrids of proven building techniques: ceilings, load bearing and stiffening interior walls and the elevator shaft is made of reinforced concrete. lean supports are realized as square-tube profiles. non-load bearing interior walls are carried out in dry construction and non-load bearing exterior walls in timber panel construction. to shorten the period for the construction process, exterior walls with integrated windows and wooden facades have been almost completely pre-assembled in the factory while concreting at site.

das ländliche umfeld des wettbewerbsgrundstücks ist geprägt von solitärbauten, welche sich in die unterschiedlichen höhenlagen der hügellandschaft von lappersdorf einfügen. die umliegende wiesenlandschaft stellt zugleich die besondere attraktivität des planungsgrundstücks dar. unser entwurf sieht zwei in längsrichtung gereihte geschosswohnungsbauten vor. leicht höhenversetzt zueinander passen sie sich ins gelände ein. ein gemeinschaftlicher treffpunkt mit sitzflächen und kinderspielplatz befindet sich zwischen den beiden gebäuden und ist räumlich gefasst von terrassierungen der außenanlagen.

die wohnbauten wurden projektiert als hochwirtschaftlicher hybrid aus bewährten bauweisen: decken, tragende und aussteifende innenwände sowie der aufzugsschacht wurden aus stahlbeton errichtet. als tragende stützen sind schlanke quadratrohrprofile vorgesehen. nichttragende innenwände wurden in trockenbauweise ausgeführt und nichttragende außenwände in holztafelbauweise. um die gesamtbauzeit zu optimieren, wurden die außenwände mit integrierten fenstern und holzfassade in der werkstatt der holzbaufirma vorgefertigt, während auf der baustelle betoniert wurde.
