the orientation of the new single family house at the edge of the village haag a. d. amper is influenced by the hillside property and it´s focus towards the village church. one of the design objectives was the flexibility of the floor plan in regards to future developments. the building is customized for a family of four. nevertheless, the transformation of the children area into a rentable self-contained flat at a later time is still possible. despite the small living space, the interior appears light and generous due to multi-storey atriums in the living-dining area and the children area or the later self-contained flat. the building owners put great emphasis on using ecologically compatible raw and production materials. the house is designed as a compact volume with low span widths and as a solid wood construction system. roof, ceiling, outer and inner wall elements have been pre-assembled in the factory. the assembly on site was finished within a few days. the structure of these solid wood elements enables best thermal and sound insulation.

die ausrichtung des einfamilienhauses am dorfrand von haag a. d. amper ist bestimmt durch das hanggrundstück und dessen orientierung zum dorfkern. entwurfskriterium für die raumaufteilung war die adaptierbarkeit an zukünftige nutzungsentwicklungen. zum erstbezug ist das haus konzipiert für eine vierköpfige familie. die umnutzung des kinderbereiches zu einer vermietbaren einliegerwohnung ist zu einem späteren zeitpunkt dennoch möglich. trotz der sparsamen grundfläche wirkt der innenraum hell und großzügig aufgrund zweier mehrgeschossiger lufträume im ess-/wohnbereich und im kinder-/einliegerwohnbereich. die bauherren legten zudem größten wert auf die verwendung ökologieverträglicher baustoffe. konstruiert ist das haus als kompaktes volumen mit geringen spannweiten in massivholzbauweise. aussenwand-, innenwand-, dach- und deckenscheiben werden im werk vorgefertigt, die montage auf der baustelle konnte innerhalb weniger tage erfolgen. der aufbau der massivholzelemente garantiert eine optimale wärme- und schalldämmung.
